All my bags are packed,I’m ready to go..

Sunday, October 29th, 2006

I’m standing here outside your door,

already I’m so lonesome,

I could die..

So,time’s up.I’ll be heading back to sob..sob..sob..(I can’t even say it!!) Exam’s just around the corner,I believe I can even see it peeping!Ouh the agony! The outrage! The slings and arrows of outrageous fortunes! (as Hamlet would agree)

But anyway,I’m pretty happy about Raya.Got to ziarah kubur tuk & nek in Tangkak, which actually was my 1st priority. Then came the ’sightseeing’ but hey,I didn’t mind it that much. This Raya,we got to visit relatives which we’ve (or I rather) not seen in many years,or never seen too.And because of that,I fail to feel the least bit of guilt for any response I’ve given to ‘certain’ people as I truly believe they deserved it.What good does forgiveness bring, when you’re just bound to hurt the SAME person again and again? The silence that I’ve resorted to,IS the way to lead me to forgive.

Whatever it may be,I’m leaving it all behind. Now that it’s all done.I’m looking forward to a new ‘to do’ list,as follows (according to priority):

+Open Season

+John Tucker Must Die

+WTC

+Covenant (reminds me of Constantine pulak..hahha)

+Build illegal 4 storey castel cum mansion

+Run to rep fr my area (Petaling Utara)

+Become MBPJ Council

+Get summoned to the Istana (wow…now THAT’S something)

+Make headlines for weeks

hahaha..if someone has done it..dun see why I can’t eh?

Dude..

Ramadhan came to an end today..now..it’s Syawal

Tired as hell. The day before Raya’s always the most hectic.Apart from chores, after considering the BIG ‘guilt’ cloud hovering on me; as my sister hasn’t gotten raya shoes+tudung (and my 3 trips to Jln TAR has definitely been benificial for me),made effort to chaperone her to PKNS.

It seemed rather cloudy, but being the big ‘gambler’ that I am;I didn’t think we needed an umbrella.BIG MISTAKE!After 20minutes,it started to pour and pour!Oh and it gets better with the thunder and lightnings as well.So me the gambler ran through the rain. But that’s not what I really wanted to say..

What I do want to say is,MBSA does a lousy job on it’s ‘city’.The whole darn place was flooding like crap!Even levelled area like the parking lot!Aaaaaa………….. So I got soaked to the bone! With my now splishing-sploshing shoes we went to SACC to find some shoes, luckily we were wearing black so nobody could tell we were soaked. Not only that but my sister pretty much managed to soak those display shoes as well while trying em on hahaha…

Thank God we arrived home in time for buka coz there was lodeh and kuah kacang (cudn’t wait for raya..haha).So now, still running around in between attending to my YM and some final Raya touches.Abg haven’t came home frm takbir yet,mom and sis are out to send some things over to Pak Long and me?I’m all alone with kitty..while OKU and OKI are outside eating (hah..today OKI came near me for d first time…yeyy!!)

Since I’ve pretty much covered on attending to the Raya smses,I think tmrw I’d be pretty free.. ^_^ (abes kredit gue…) Now all that’s left is to sembahyang Raya, ziarah and eat and eat the whole day looongggg and unlike last Raya,I’m hoping that I’d be well the whole time through instead of vomitting for days haha..

=nw I knw who to blame when the ligality of my hse is being questioned-the architect!!!..just what is it that hasn’t been submitted?building plan or planning permission?they don’t seem to be clarifying it very well..manaleh ada KM kalau tak submit building plan?Mustahil la tuan rumah unaware about his KM kan..Nak bina that kind of mansion, some board notifying of such thing must be put up and now it’s 80% completed!Mansion in that kinda housing area? What wassit?terraces ke apa tah..MPK dun have dev plans ke?2 and a half storeys takpela but 3 and+1 "observation tower" is too much!=

With Raya coming near, more intereting events seems to take place:

+both PM n immediate post PM agreed to meet (and hopefully end the disputes ow whatever they call it)

+Nik Aziz gets to celebrate Raya with his son after 5 years

+MBSA now has 23 newly sworn Councils (leaving 1 more spot for me??haha)

All in all, the best has to be the "RZZ": Roselinda, Zakaria, Zainur . MPK now seems more like a ‘family business’ with the father, daughter and son-in-law being appoined as Councilors for MPK. So now his family shall hold 1/8 of the total ’share’ from the 24 spots offered for Councils in each PBT.But hey, why stop there? Why not include some atuk, pakcik, makcik, sepupu, dua pupu in the picture? Then, we’d really see something. When asked to comment, of course the ‘chosen ones’ tend stand with the "I see nothing wrong with it" credo.Indeed, if I was given power why WOULD I see anything wrong with it?Instead,I’d be bloody happy about it.So to residents of MPK;may God be with you for the next 2 years! =p

Good Urban Governance. What of it?It’s just a lame concept of highlighting the 9 ‘ethics’ of LAs.Participation,Transparency,Accountability,Equity,Effectiveness and Efficiency,Rule of Law,Responsiveness,Consensus Oriented,Strategic Vision ; to what extent are they even being practiced?Nobody seems to know them anyway. Not even those who’re suppossed to.It’s just another campaign, another motto, another way to boost the economy for those banner makers,publishers.. and the entire ‘media’ family.

So the State Govt elects Councilors of diverse educational backgrounds, sure they may generate better ideas when their skills and profession are combined and avoid overlooking certain aspects but how much do they know about planning? There’s a big misconception about Town Planners.Everybody seems to think that ‘anyone’ can do it.

When such profession is mentioned, the FIRST thing I’d hear is ‘ooo..haaa..yg buat Putrajaya tu ye’.People!Putrajaya isn’t the ONLY city. And no, we don’t just build cities! We have to maintain it as well. And no we’re not only involved in buildings but also landworks (subdivide, amalgate,TOR), and the environment. And no,we’re not greedy people who just think about developing every piece of land in every nook and cranny,we do preservation as well. Our clients are not only people, we’re suppossed to plan for the flora and faunas and buildings too.THAT a whole lot more.

So why aren’t the right profession being actually ‘put’ in the right place?Sometimes I just think Town Planning’s just another glamourous title made up by some dude who thought it wud be cool if there was a profession which combined ‘architecture, economists, landscape architects, environmentalists, law etc’ - just like rojak.

…hip..hip…horaaayyyyyy….. -_-"

Dear MR Brown..Yes, I’m up and about; at present I’m in KAED after submitting another round of PPP ^_^ SO tell me Mr. Brown, why do you just sit there and stare at me each morning and night;with your smile trying to make everything okay.Well lemme tell you this,it doesn’t always WORK!!!

Mr Brown,I think I’ve strained my shoulders. That was quite a drive yesterday. From Gombak to UIA matric then all the way to UiTM in Shah Alam and off to SACC for buka which turned out quite disassterous! (make you wonder what the term ‘entertainment’ is to d ppl of S.Alam). I didn’t mind the drive but the steering felt as though I was driving a 16 tonne lorry!Ah,and who could ever forget the ever so popular incident with ‘rented’ vehicles - gas tank runs dry.Luckily God had mercy and let the engine die at Shell (the LAST gas station on the way to UIA).I was humoured rather than panicky..since I happen to be WELL ACQUAINTED by such situations. Note to self: it takes more than $10 petrol for the Gombak-S.Alam trip! =p And so after waking up for sahur,my nerves seem to be functioning because my shoulders were crying in pain!

After 8.30am I managed to take a nap;finally my PPP was done!So what does it take to wake me up?My alarm screeming at 9.30am?Nope,that didn’t do it -I turned it off. What it took for me to get up was….

+those pesticide guys bangging on the door (more like bangging on my head!)
+a classmate msging saying “Prof Mansor wants all 4th yrs to go to a talk….”
+call frm colleague who didn’t plan on going (as I)
+call to others who’re at the function, telling them to inform should it be imprtant to attend
+msg frm a friend inviting for a movie
+call frm the friend, giving details on the invitation and asking directions to Jln Tandang (some secluded place in PJ)
+msg from a colleague saying..”ala..takyahla pegi..dh nk abes pun..”

and after the ordeal,it wasn’t worth to doze off because I’m now WIDE AWAKE.

~Lips Of An Angel~

Honey why are you calling me so late
It’s kinda hard to talk right now
Honey why are you crying is everything okay
I gotta whisper cause I can’t be too loud
Well, my girl’s in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on

It’s really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak
And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It’s funny that you’re calling me tonight
And yes I’ve dreamt of you too
And does he know you’re talking to me
Will it start a fight
No I don’t think she has a clue

Well my girl’s in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on

It’s really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak
And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

+what is it?week 13?and all I can think about is shoes+
